Kogi guber: Bello govt speaks out on arrest of ADC candidate, Abejide

The African Democratic Congress, ADC’s Hon. Leke Abejide, governorship candidate, has not been targeted for arrest, according to the Kogi State Government.

Kingsley Fanwo, the State’s Commissioner for Information, revealed this.

Remember that the Director General of the Department of State Services (DSS) and the Inspector General of Police (IGP) were instructed by Justice Ahmed Ramat Mohammed of the Federal High Court in Abuja to provide the ADC candidate with the best possible protection.

In order to protect Abejide’s life and property while the complaint against them is being heard and decided, the court ordered the DSS, the Police, and Kogi Governor Yayaha Bello to refrain from inviting, arresting, detaining, or threatening Abejide.

“No one is attempting to have any of the contenders for governor arrested.

“Leke Abejide, a contender for the ADC governorship, has no pursuers.

On Monday, Fanwo remarked on Channels TV, “We don’t know why he’s fleeing helter-skelter that he shouldn’t be caught.
