Members of the Rivers State House of Assembly were said to be at odds with one another on Sunday after some of them started the process of impeaching Fubara.
According to Eze, Wike chose to take action against Governor Fubara because he supported Amaechi’s people-focused initiatives for the state’s advancement.
In addition, Fubara disapproved of Wike’s attempts to exclude him from all political activities and decisions both inside and outside the state, to the point where he was advised not to attend any political gatherings in Abuja, including the PDP-Governors Forum, where he is influential as Vice Chair.
The State House of Assembly’s majority leader, Edison Ehie, was fired after rejecting the attempt to remove the governor from office on the grounds that he had not committed any crimes that may result in his impeachment.
However, it was also stated that Edison had been elected to the position of Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly.
Eze called on the people of Rivers State to unite behind the governor in order to protect the state from an extremely immoral emperor who believed he had taken control of Rivers State and its inhabitants.

“Rivers State is too advanced to be held as a slave by someone with Nyesom Wike’s caliber.
The attempt to start the impeachment process against the governor of Rivers State merely because he wishes to bring back the majority of Amaechi’s vision, such as the Songhai and the Greater Port Harcourt, which are all meant to make the state not only self-sufficient but also to empower the majority of its youth, is extremely regrettable and depressing.
Let me stress once more that Wike should not try to rekindle his illegal use of five lawmakers to begin the process of impeaching Amaechi by July 2013, as his plan to assassinate Fubara will fail miserably this time.
“Wike does not own Rivers State, nor should he determine the state’s future.”
Members of the Rivers State House of Assembly were advised by the APC Chief to attempt to learn about the procedure for impeaching a governor.
Eze urged Governor Fubara to continue the battle and make sure he escapes the slavery the FCT Minister has imposed upon him.
