Timi Frank, a former All Progressives Congress (APC) deputy national publicity secretary, has urged President Bola Tinubu and the APC to summon Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister Nyesom Wike to order, should his desperate attempt at administration go awry.
According to reports, Frank criticized Wike for reportedly organizing a plot to remove Rivers State Governor Siminilaye Fubara from office in a statement released on Tuesday.
He denounced the police’s use of tear gas and water cannons on the governor.
He asserted that Wike was undermining Tinubu’s government by tearing down homes and taking away landed property ownership in Abuja.
He claims that Wike intends to dismantle the APC in order to run for president in 2027 on the Peoples Democratic Party ticket (PDP).

Frank maintained that Fubara turned against Wike because he refused to follow his orders, claiming that Wike was after the state’s funds and allotments.
He declared, “Wike has already begun tearing down homes and taking away land ownership in Abuja in an effort to infuriate Nigerians, incite hatred toward Tinubu, and paint the APC’s government as evil and anti-people.

When Tinubu realizes this, it will be too late because Wike will have already overthrown his administration in order to position himself to run for president in 2027.
“Government is Wike’s only goal; he has begun preparing for the president in 2027. He is therefore extremely desperate and will stop at nothing to get Tinubu’s approval, but if they do not bring him to order, he will ruin the administration.
Let Wike become an official member of the APC and carry an APC card if he truly likes Tinubu and believes in his leadership. However, he has declined to do so in order to dismantle the APC and use the Peoples Democratic Party platform to run for president in 2027 (PDP). Because of his nefarious goals, he has refused to join the APC.
“In addition to exercising caution, Tinubu and the APC must immediately persuade Wike to put an end to this craziness in Rivers State; otherwise, it will backfire.
“Wike ran an aggressive campaign for Fubara, saying he was the greatest candidate running for governor. However, all of a sudden, Fubara is his opponent since he is a tyrant who is pursuing Rivers’ money and is no longer following his orders.
In an effort to overthrow Wike’s autocracy and godfatherism in Rivers State, he also urged governors from all political parties to unite in favor of their counterpart.
Frank also reminded Fubara that light would ultimately triumph over darkness and pushed him to stay steadfast and unwavering in opposing Wike’s evil schemes.
“In the end, sitting governors will become vegetables like local government chairmen in states if they allow Wike to succeed in using federal might to illegally remove Fubara as governor,” he continued. “Former governors who worked to become governors will take a leaf from Wike’s book and use it to hound them out of office whenever they don’t do their bidding.” Thus, the governor of the Rivers is not the only factor.
