Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla, the Chief of Naval Staff, has stated that members of the Nigerian Armed Forces and their families ought to be recognized and thankful for the services they have rendered and the dedication they have shown toward the protection of the nation.
He made the observation that the spouses and families of people should be respected, and he said that the efforts of these individuals have enabled personnel to perform to the best of their abilities during a variety of operations.
At the Christmas Carol that was held in Abuja on Sunday night, Ogalla delivered a speech. The event was organized by the Naval Officers’ Wives Association.
He delivered the following statement: “While we are taking pleasure in the joyous atmosphere, let us also consider the sacrifices that our naval personnel and their families have made.” Because of their selfless dedication to our beloved nation and the service they have provided, they have earned our utmost respect and thanks. We are able to join together in celebration and acknowledgment of the collective spirit that keeps the military community strong and resilient thanks to the efforts of the Naval Officers’ Wives Association because of events such as this Christmas Carol.
In addition, I would want to express my gratitude and acknowledgement to the Chief Executive Officers of DEPOWA, NAOWA, and NAFOWA. I would want to express my gratitude for the numerous welfare operations that they have undertaken in support of the Nigerian Armed Forces. The personnel are urged to perform to the best of their abilities when they are sent to various activities as a result of these collective efforts.
During the holiday season, he urged Nigerians to demonstrate that they are generous and compassionate toward those who are less fortunate.
Ogalla continued by saying, “Christmas is a season that encourages us to embrace the spirit of giving, kindness, compassion, and reflection. It is also a time with which we express gratitude and generosity.” We have a special place in our hearts for the NOWA Christmas Carol and the Night of Nine Lesson because they capture the essence of the season as well as the sense of community that is characteristic of the Naval Officers’ Wives Association:
