Nigerain Navy promotes 58 senior officers to different grades.

The board has promoted 58 senior officers to different grades in the Nigerian Navy.

It was revealed that thirty Commodores were promoted to the position of Rear Admiral, while twenty-eight Navy Captains were promoted to the level of Commodore.

 

In a statement released on Friday, Commodore Adedotun Ayo-Vaughan, the director of information, stated that the senior officers’ promotions had been authorized by the board on Thursday.

 

Ayo-Vaughan Adefemi Kayode, Kabir Mohammed, Gabriel Aligwe, Aliyu Gaya, Shehu Gombe, Godfrey Kwetishe, Musa Katagum, Kehinde Odubanjo, Pakiribo Anabraba, Suleiman Ibrahim, Olugbenga Oladipo, Haruna Zego, Mohammed Dahiru, Nnamdi Ekwom, Stephen Ibrahim, Mohammed Muye, Aniefiok Uko, Anenechukwu Ezenma, Olufemi Adeleke, Etop Ebe, Sunday Yahaya, Umaru Faruk, Michael Igwe, Ikenna Ubanni, Emmanuel Anakwe, and Omotola Olukoya are among those promoted to Rear Admiral.

 

 

Captains Innocent Udoudoh, Mohammed Umaru, Iliya Abdu Aiwuyor Adams-Aliu, Reginald Adoki, Abimbola Agunbiade, Christian Akokota, Chukwuma Azuike, Adegoke Ebo, Innocent Ejiofor, Tahir Ngada, Oluseyi Oladipo, Shehu Tasiu, Aliyu Umaru, Peter Yilme, Sikiru Abdulraheem, Tunde Abdulrahim, Emeka Chinaka, Effiom Ekpenyong, Ahmad Madawaki, Momoh Salihu. In addition, Captains Hassan Dogara, Olajide Babalola, and Suleiman Idris were promoted to retirement.

 

Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla, the Chief of Naval Staff, tasked them with renewing their commitment to serving their country and sticking behind President Bola Tinubu.
