The Christian Association of Nigeria protests against the ongoing killings in Plateau State and other parts of the country were led on Monday.
Rev. Polycarp Lubo, the state chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Rev. Dr. Stephen Baba Panya, the president of ECWA, Rev. Dr. Amos Mohzo, the president of COCIN, Rev. Nkechi Nwosu, the bishop of the Methodist church in Jos, Rev. Dr. Gideon ParaMallam, the president of the Gideon and Funmi-ParaMallam Peace Foundation, and other prominent Christian leaders in the state are leading the “Plateau Peace Walk” demonstration.
The protesters marched toward the Rayfield Government House from the PRTVC Roundabout in Jos to voice their dissatisfaction with the current level of security.
