Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, the minister of interior, has allegedly been called by President Bola Tinubu to the presidential villa.

According to The Nation, Tunji-Ojo will visit the president on Tuesday afternoon at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

This follows his suspected involvement in the fraud involving Betta Edu, the suspended Minister of Humanitarian Affairs.

According to reports, New New Planet Projects Ltd. was given an N438 million consulting contract for the National Social Register by the Edu-led ministry.

Tunji-Ojo has been associated with the company as well.

On Monday, Tinubu suspended Edu due to misappropriation of public funds and financial issues.
