AFCON 2023: Cote D’Ivoire Welcomes the Super Eagles

Aéroport International Felix Houphouet Boigny d’Abidjan, Cote D’Ivoire has welcomed the Super Eagles of Nigeria ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations, which kicks off on Saturday, January 13, 2023.

Ahmed Musa, the captain, guided the team.

According to report, the national team was given a supper on Tuesday at the State House, Marina, Lagos, by Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu. On Wednesday morning, the team left for Cote D’Ivoire.

The first team to arrive in Cote d’Ivoire for the tournament, aside from the host country, was the Atlas Lions of Morocco.

Among the other national teams that have arrived for the competition are those from Guinea-Bissau, Senegal, Mozambique, and Egypt.
