Two suspected traffic robbers who have been intimidating drivers in the Iganmu and Ijora Badia areas of Lagos State have been taken into custody by the police.
On Monday, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, a spokesman for the command, verified the arrest.
According to Hundeyin, the suspects were followed by means of their cell phones, one of which had fallen out of his pocket during his initial evasion of arrest.
According to him, at approximately 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, a resident reported suspicious activity involving the suspects.

According to Hundeyin, the robbers were hotly pursued by the police surveillance team of the Ijora Badia Police Division and a vigilance group on Moshood Abiola Way, Ijora, after they heard the alarm.
The suspects managed to flee as the combined team hurried to the scene. On the other hand, the agents found one Botel phone and what they believed to be Indian hemp weeds there.
But on Sunday morning, at around 10:00 a.m., agents managed to locate the gang’s ring leaders, Adam Mohammed, 19, and Adam Abdullahi, 28.
Adamu Abdullahi was found to be the owner of the phone that was found. He said, “Suspects admitted to the crime, and the victim also recognized them.
According to Hundeyin, the police were still investigating the incident and were searching for more gang members.
