On the Ikere-Igbara Odo Ekiti axis, a suspected kidnapper has been apprehended as a result of the swift deployment of special troops.
Based on intelligence, the operation resulted in a gunfight with the alleged kidnappers, which allowed Salisu Dangani to be apprehended.
Brigadier General Ebenezer Ogundana (retd), Special Adviser to the Ekiti State Governor on Security Matters, spoke to reporters at the scene of the arrest and said that the suspect has been detained for more profiling.

The suspect was found in possession of a cell phone, a fake gun, a dagger, a torchlight, and what appeared to be charms.
