As unknown shooters assaulted the world, tragedy befell the Buh-speaking group of Nakere in Wamba Native Authorities Space (LGA) in Nasarawa State.
Tari Moses Gbaja, also known as T Boy, was a youth chief who was killed in the attack.

The event, which happened on Wednesday, February 28 at approximately 9 p.m., also saw the abduction of Nnamani Albert, a businessman, and Tabitha Dauda Musa, the wife of the leading pastor of Christ-Elect Revival Mission.
Reporters learned that several locals were hurt by the gunmen.
As of the time this report was submitted, there has been no success in getting the police to provide input on the occurrence.
