President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has directed cement firms in Nigeria to revert to previous costs amid the hike in the price of the commodity.

David Umahi, the Minister of Works, disclosed this on Thursday after inspecting the BUA cement manufacturing facility in Sokoto State.

Umahi stated, “Mr President insisted that they need to return to the established order so far as this cement value is anxious for the widespread man.

“I need to encourage them to abide by the directive of Mr President in order that we are able to obtain an enormous housing programme and the renewed hope agenda of concrete roads by the President,” he stated.
