A group of police operatives comprising eight individuals visited the house of the three siblings of the identical dad and mom who died on account of suffocation in a parked automotive in Ilorin, Kwara State capital.
The unhappy incident occurred on February 25, 2024.
The police operatives, together with a girl and 7 male officers, stormed the scene of the incident at No. 8, Boluke residence, Zango-Kulende quarters, at about 11:30 a.m. as a part of the continued investigation directed by the Inspector-Normal of Police to get to the basis of the matter.
The operatives, who had been in mufti, had two armed males with them in the course of the fact-finding mission.
The investigators, arriving on the scene in a marked police Hilux van, inspected the ill-fated automotive and interrogated tenants and the landlady of the condo rented by the dad and mom of the deceased youngsters.
They later requested the daddy of the deceased youngsters, Abdulkadir Jimoh, to enter the ill-fated automotive. He discovered it troublesome to disembark after closing the automotive door whereas inside.
It couldn’t be confirmed if the daddy of the deceased youngsters, who was taken away after the go to by the operatives, had been launched on the time of this report.
reporter remembers that after the incident, the IGP ordered a discreet investigation into the matter.
When contacted on Tuesday, the spokesperson of the state police command, Ejire Adeyemi Toun, confirmed the event.
Ejire defined that “till the investigation is concluded, no detailed info might be supplied.”
