Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have launched an assault on Kurmi village in Ningi Native Authorities Space, LGA, of Bauchi State, abducting 5 villagers.

The incident was mentioned to have occurred late Sunday evening because the armed males reportedly stormed the village, taking pictures sporadically to scare away residents within the wake of the kidnapping.

He described the assault as a well-coordinated one, saying the attackers numbering six caught the villagers off guard.

He talked about that amongst these injured have been a nursing mom and former Councillor, Abdulrahaman Jibrin Kurmi, who reportedly sustained gunshot accidents, including that the duo narrowly escaped abduction.

He added that the destiny of the remaining 5 victims, together with the previous councillor’s son stays unsure.

Zubairu said additional that he has ordered the switch of the wounded victims to the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Birnin Kudu in Jigawa State for complete medical care, with the Council masking all bills.
