A nineteen years outdated man, Isaac Olaoti, was on Monday sentenced to 6 months imprisonment for stealing, within the Iseyin space of Oyo State.
Iseyin is without doubt one of the cities in Oke Ogun geo-political zone of the state.
Olaoti was sentenced to 6 months imprisonment for stealing by a Chief Justice of the Peace’s Court docket in Iseyin headed by A.S Durowoju.
reporter gathered that the accused was caught stealing electrical cables at Oke-Oja maternity centre in Iseyin.
Olaoti pleaded responsible to the crime and pleaded that the Justice of the Peace mood justice with mercy.
He was subsequently sentenced to 6 months imprisonment with the choice of 4 weeks neighborhood service.
“For stealing electrical wire value of N50,000 which is the property of Oyo State Authorities and thereby committing an offence opposite to part 383 and punishable underneath part 390(9) of the legal code cap 38 vol 11 legislation of Oyo State, Nigeria 2000, you might be sentenced to 6 months imprisonment, with the choice of 4 weeks neighborhood service,” the Justice of the Peace dominated.
