Senator Shehu Sani has revealed what the Bauchi Central Senator, Abdul Ningi, stands to lose after the Senate slammed him with a three-month suspension.
reporter earlier reported that Ningi, Chairman of the Northern Senators Discussion board, was on Tuesday suspended over his funds padding claims.
The Suspension got here after the lawmakers deliberated on the allegation made by the Bauchi lawmakers that about N3.7 trillion within the 2024 funds was not tied to any mission.
Reacting, Shehu Sani, in a submit on his official X deal with stated the suspended lawmaker will now not have entry to his workplace and won’t be entitled to remunerations till the suspension is lifted.
The previous lawmaker lamented that such large punishment has stored even lawmakers from the opposition events silent on problems with significance.
