The candidate of the Accord Party for the September 21 governorship election in Edo State, Bright Enabulele, says the state needs liberation from the alleged misrule of the current and past administrations in the state, adding that he is the best man for the job.

Enabulele, who spoke at the weekend in Benin, said the desire to liberate the state informed his decision to return from abroad to join the governorship race.

“It is time for Edo to move forward. Anyone who doesn’t want Edo to move forward doesn’t mean well for the people of the state. These are issues that will be addressed as the election draws near.

“I am here and in the race to liberate Edo people, to bring real change. Edo State needs freedom, and with me in the race, freedom starts today,” he said.

Enabulele commended his supporters for coming out en masse to honour him, urging them to stay united in their pursuit of change.
