The Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, his counterpart from Osun State, Governor Ademola Adeleke, Governor Ahmed Ododo of Kogi State and the Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, have congratulated President Bola Tinubu on his 72nd birthday.
Also felicitating the President on his birthday on Friday was the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Abdullahi Ganduje.
In his congratulatory message to the President, Governor Abiodun described Tinubu as the right man to lead the country during the current economic crisis.
Abiodun said, “I would like to extend my warmest congratulations and best wishes to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the occasion of his 72nd birthday.
“This milestone is not only a celebration of a remarkable life well-lived but also an opportunity to acknowledge the president’s exceptional contributions to the growth and development of our great nation, Nigeria.
“President Tinubu has undeniably proven himself as a formidable politician, a visionary leader, and a champion of democracy. His unwavering commitment to the principles of democracy and good governance has left an indelible mark on our nation’s political landscape.”
Also, the Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, in a statement signed by his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, hailed Tinubu for his tough but promising economic decisions for the country.
The statement read, “President Tinubu is an exceptional leader, taking on the challenges that have stunted the growth of the country for years and opening a path for a future of prosperity. Under his guidance, Nigeria is weaning itself of the culture of waste and unproductivity, reaffirming our collective desire for progress and development.
“On behalf of the good people of Osun State, I congratulate His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the grace of a new age and appreciate him for his service and leadership for the country.”
On his part, the Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Ododo, in a statement issued on Friday by the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ismaila Isah, said, “Mr President as you mark your 72nd birthday today, I extend my warmest wishes on behalf of the government and people of Kogi State to you for your abiding faith in our county and your love for our state.
“You have dedicated your life to the service of our great nation, demonstrating unwavering commitment, wisdom, and leadership in steering Nigeria towards greater economic prosperity and improvement in the security of lives and property under very challenging circumstances.”
The Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, in his letter to the President, the governor said, “I heartily congratulate Your Excellency, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as you mark your 72nd birthday.
“I celebrate with you today and pray that God will grant you the strength and wisdom to continue to steer the ship of state aright, especially in these challenging times.”
Meanwhile, the National Chairman of the APC, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje, in his congratulatory message to the President by his (Ganduje’s) Chief Press Secretary, Edwin Olofu, commended Tinubu’s efforts to steer the country towards prosperity.
“Mr President, your commitment to our country’s welfare, your strategic insight, and your relentless pursuit of better days are sources of inspiration for us all. Your leadership has guided us through challenges and illuminated a path for the country toward ensuring prosperity and greatness.
“The economy is on the right track and on its way to recovery. Nigerians would soon heave a sigh of relief and enjoy the fullness of prosperity as Mr President’s reform is already yielding good returns,” Ganduje stated.
