Commercial driver kills one, injures another in Lagos road crash

A speeding driver has reportedly killed one yet-to-be-identified male pedestrian in the early hours of Tuesday, in Ketu, along the Mile 12- Ikorodu Expressway of Lagos State.

The driver, who was conveying pepper and some perishable items, was reported to have rammed into two other vehicles and a pedestrian, killing the pedestrian and injuring one passenger.

The Director of Public Affairs, Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, Adebayo Taofiq, confirmed the incident to our correspondent.

He said, “A commercial Toyota Hiace Bus (NSW 216 XA) fully loaded with pepper and other perishable items early this morning rammed into two other Volkswagen commercial buses and killed a pedestrian (male) at Ketu by Demurim Junction inward Kosofe, Lagos.”
