Two Catholic priests have reportedly died in Ekwulobia Diocese of Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State.

Our correspondent obtained the names of the demised priests as Fr. Ernest Nwankwo and Fr. Christopher Ike.

It was gathered that their deaths occurred on March 19, 2024, and April 9, 2024, respectively,  leaving a deep void within the community and among the Catholic faithful.

This was made known in a condolence message to the church and the community signed by the National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, Sly Ezeokenwa, made available to journalists on Thursday.

Reacting to the deaths of the clerics, in the condolence message, Ezeokenwa, expressed profound sorrow over the passing of two “revered priests”.
