The Kogi State Chapter of Inter-Celebration Advisory Council, IPAC, on Wednesday elected Mallam Iliyas Badanga Abdulsalam as its new Chairman.
The election, which befell on the workplace of Unbiased Nationwide Electoral Fee, INEC, headquarters in Lokoja, was monitored by INEC officers.
On the finish of the election, Abdulsalam scored 12 votes whereas the second contestant, Mr Medupin Ephraim, received 4 votes.
In his acceptance speech, Abdulsalam mentioned, “I promise to carry dearly this nice place of belief and accountability unanimously reposed on me by varied political chairmen within the state.
“I’ll uphold the IPAC splendid of integrity, professionalism, and defend the general public Curiosity. I can’t betray this invaluable belief, regardless of the worth, Insha Allah.”
He assured political events that participated within the course of that he can be truthful and simply, in an effort to advance the course of democracy.
