Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke advised civil personnel to avoid a viral article about a new compensation scale.

Adeleke claimed post information is bogus.

On Monday, Governor Olawale Rasheed’s spokeswoman said social media viral information did not come from the state administration.

Rasheed said the governor cares about workers and will soon come up with ways to mitigate the effects of subsidy removal on state residents, particularly civil servants.

He added that the Governor is developing palliatives and will shortly implement them to help the people.

According to the statement, the Osun State Government has noticed a viral post about a new government servant compensation scale. Every content in the post is not from the State Government, making it fake and deceptive.

“Since taking office, Governor Ademola Adeleke has shown dedication to worker welfare and will disclose steps to mitigate the effects of subsidy removal on civil servants and the public.

Civil servants should disregard the viral post’s alleged new wage structure. Mischief-makers raise worker expectations and cause disaffection.

In line with the state’s economic reality, Governor Ademola Adeleke promises civil servants’ wellbeing.

The Adeleke government is working on palliatives measures that will shortly be implemented to help civil servants and the public at this difficult time.
