British-Nigerian boxer, Anthony Joshua, has recorded his first victory since 2020.
Joshua defeated Jermaine Franklin at the 02 Arena in London, on Saturday night via unanimous decision.
The former world champion came into the match from back-to-back losses to Ukrainian war hero Oleksandr Usyk, was declared winner after 12 rounds by 118-111, 117-111, 117-111 on the scorecards of the three judges.
Joshua had vowed to quit boxing if he lost to Franklin.
Franklin previously held an unbeaten start to his career, winning on his first 20 outings. But he lost against Dillian Whyte in his UK debut.
