Okpokwu Ogenyi, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress, has urged the presidential candidates of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, and the New Nigeria People’s Party, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, to put their differences aside and cooperate with President Bola Tinubu’s government of national unity for the benefit of the nation.

The appeal follows a hearing on Wednesday at the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal, where the court has thus far rejected the petitions of the Allied Peoples Movement and Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate.

Ogenyi urged Obi and Atiku to go beyond the legal processes and consider how they could assist Tinubu in bringing about the “Renewed Hope” he promised Nigerians. Ogenyi arrived at the court with a large group of APC supporters on a solidarity walk.

They (Atiku and Obi) are Nigerians too, he remarked. They ought to support the president and respect the judgment of the court. Chief Olabode George, who long criticized the government, is a good example of how welcome Mr. government is. Before the general elections, Chief George declared that he would move to Ghana if Bola Tinubu won the presidency. He is still in Nigeria now, under the same president, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, taking use of the benefits of democracy.

We’re indicating that Atiku, Peter Obi, and Kwankwaso are all welcome to serve in this administration. As all we want is to ensure the development and success of the Nigerian system, which we thought would be possible under the presidency of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The national coordinator of the Coalition for Good Governance and Change Initiative continued by telling The PUNCH that he had no doubts that Tinubu will win the 2023 presidential election again.

On the president’s enormous accomplishments in his first 100 days in office, Ogenyi based his conviction.

He was able to sign the Students Loans Act into law during his first 100 days in office. He started implementing efforts to mitigate the effects of the subsidy reduction within his first 100 days in office. He also succeeded in diversifying the Nigerian economy by re-creating ministries and giving them the proper responsibilities. Asiwaju has continued to make significant progress after 100 days in office. Nigeria has gained international recognition, and the United States of America has invited him to speak in a side session during the current NUGA match in Portugal.

“We want to express our gratitude to the Justices of the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal for issuing a sound decision thus far. The fact that we are Nigerians by providence and that God the Almighty sent President Asiwaju to end the misery of the Nigerian people is not a mistake. He said, “Asiwaju has made a lot of promises, and he is keeping them.
