Bandits attack Emir of Birnin Gwari’s convoy in Kaduna

Armed bandits have attacked the convoy of the Emir of Birnin Gwari, Alhaji Zubairu Jibril Mai Gwari II.

The monarch’s convoy was attacked at Kaduna-Birnin Gwari highway while on its way to Kaduna on Tuesday evening.

Birnin Gwari has been hit by constant killings.

Many people have been forced to leave their villages and abandon their age-long farming occupation and other means of survival.
