According to the Katsina State Police Command, on Saturday, suspected bandits from Nahuta village in the Batsari Local Government Area of the state slaughtered four farmers and kidnapped eight more.
ASP Abubakar Aliyu, a spokesman for the state police, confirmed the attack in Katsina on Sunday.

According to him, the attackers attacked when the farmers were harvesting their crops.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that one of the farmers who made it out was wounded by gunshots.
“The suspected bandits ambushed the farmers and started shooting at them, killing four and wounding one while also kidnapping eight more people,” remarked Aliyu
