suggested that they cut the cost of running the country and use fear of God to carry out their duties.

At the swearing-in event held in the Banquet Hall of Government House in Bauchi, the governor gave the commissioners instructions on how to effectively carry out their duties by collaborating with the appropriate parties, notably their Permanent Secretaries.

He recommended the commissioners to often visit their neighbourhoods in order to build community confidence and promote transparency in governmental operations.

According to him, his administration supports improved performance, inclusion without sacrificing merit, as well as reassessing and stepping up efforts to give the populace more democratic dividends.

The Governor reaffirmed that, even though each of them had been elected to serve as a representative of their separate constituencies, their appointment had been made on the basis of their competence, performance history, integrity, patriotism, and devotion.

Additionally, Governor Mohammed exhorted the State Executive Council members to repay the trust placed in them by working assiduously to ensure the success of his New Bauchi Project 2, which was first developed in the 20 local government areas with the goal of enhancing the quality of life for the populace.
