The Benue State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has lastly held a stakeholders’ assembly on the residence of Secretary to Authorities of the Federation, George Akume in Makurdi, the state capital.
This was after police operatives stopped the Comrade Austin Agada-led celebration management from holding the assembly final week on the directive of Governor Hyacinth Alia.
The assembly, which was held on Saturday and bumped into the evening, was attended by APC stakeholders throughout the 23 native authorities areas in Benue State.
The Judges quarters sprawling residence of Akume was stuffed as APC trustworthy took over the premises.
In attendance have been APC chieftains such because the Minister of Water Assets and Sanitation, Professor Joseph Terlumun Utsev; Sen. Titus Zam of Zone B; Sen. Emmanuel Memga Udende of Zone A.
Others have been the Director Finance and Housing Federal Housing Authority, Dr. Mathias Byuan; Hon Dickson Tarkighir of Makurdi/Guma Federal Constituency; Hon Austine Asema Achado of Gwer, Gwer-West Home of Meeting members, and plenty of different notable leaders of the celebration throughout the State.
