Breaking: Atiku, Obaseki, Fintiri, others attend at PDP’s reception for new, returning governors.

Atiku Abubakar, the candidate for president of the Peoples Democratic Party in the election of 2023, Godwin Obaseki, the governor of Edo State, Darius Ishaku, and Ahmadu Fintiri, the governor of Adamawa State, are among the early arrivals at the welcome and reception ceremony for new and returning governors elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party. The ceremony is currently ongoing.
Attendees at the event, which will take place at the Transcorp Hilton in Abuja, are anticipated to include chieftains of the party drawn from each of the party’s various organs.
Former Vice President Namadi Sambo, former Governor Ahmed Makarfi of Kaduna State, and Senator Adolphus Wabara, who is currently acting as Chairman of the PDP Board of Trustees, are among those who have already taken their seats. Mudal Yusuf, who is our special guest speaker, will deliver a talk on the topic of “Good governance at the sub-national level: Issues, perspectives, expectations, and outcomes.”
