Extra revelations have emerged regarding the ongoing funds padding saga indicating that some Senators obtained ₦500m naira every from the 2024 funds.
This was made recognized by Senator Jarigbe, representing Cross River North senatorial district, on Tuesday on the Senate ground throughout its session on the allegation of 2024 funds padding.
Senator Abdul Ningi representing Bauchi Central on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Get together, PDP, had earlier alleged that N3.7 trillion was padded into the 2024 funds.
Ningi is the Chairman, Senate Committee on Inhabitants and represents PDP, Bauchi Central.
Nonetheless, Jarigbe mentioned he didn’t get something and that no Senator has a proper to accuse Senator Ningi.
