Grammy award-winning Nigerian singer, Burna Boy, has expressed regret over his inability to settle his beef with the late South African rapper, Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, better known as AkA.
Recall that AKA was shot dead last Friday at a local restaurant known as ‘Wish On Florida’ in Durban.
Reacting to the death of his estranged friend and collaborator, Burna Boy said he wish they settled their beef over his demise.
Burna and AKA’s relationship became strained after their social media beef in 2019 over the xenophobic attack on Nigerians in South Africa which the former claimed the latter supported.
The former friends did not publicly reconcile before the demise of AKA.
Burna Boy said their failure to reconcile would haunt him forever.
Taking to his Instastory, he wrote, “I wish it didn’t end like this. Another regret I gotta live with.”
