CHIEF PHILIP AGBESE DISTRIBUTES FERTILIZERS TO FARMERS IN ADO

On Friday, 26th July 2024, I had the honour of superintending the orderly and peaceful distribution of a trailer load of 50kg NPK fertilizer to select farmers in Ado local government area of Benue State to help boost agricultural production in the state.

The fertilizer which was sourced by the distinguished Hon. Chief Dr. Philip Agbese, member of the Federal House of Representatives for Ado/Okpokwu/Ogbadibo Federal Constituency is being shared to 1000 selected farmers spread across the 10 council wards of Ado local government area.

A template that will ensure the equitable distribution of the fertilizers to authentic farmers in the various communities in the wards worked out by Chief Agbese is being followed meticulously by the Distribution Committee.

The successful distribution of the fertilizer to farmers in Ado comes after the Okpokwu fiasco, where political vandals and enemies of progress, in a bid to score cheap political points attacked the Constituency office of the Enone Chief Servant and Deputy Spokesman of the House of Representatives, and looted the consignment meant for farmers in the area.

As the distribution in Ado proceeds seamlessly, the consignment for farmers in Ogbadibo local government area is being processed by the contractor and will be delivered in due course.

Many thanks to the Enone Congressman for putting aside partisanship and giving me, a non-member of his party, the APC, the huge responsibility of overseeing the distribution of fertilizer in his local government area.

I am glad that we delivered. I want to thank all the ward coordinators and to also appreciate especially the critical support of Hon. Alegwu Adadu and Hon. Josiah Owobi, who were there from the beginning till the end.

We are not anticipating any problem, but should anyone have any issue about the distribution in any ward, pls, contact me or the coordinator for that ward.
