Chinese national abducted in Kwara, three suspects arrested

The Kwara State Police Command has arrested three suspects in reference to the alleged abduction of a Chinese language nationwide recognized as Williams Zang.

The automobile used within the operation has been recovered as police probe the kidnapping of the Chinese language nationwide at Cherish Visitor Home on the outskirts of Ilorin, the state capital.

The kidnapping was reportedly carried out by six gunmen.

In accordance with the spokesman of the State Police Command, DSP Ejire Adeyemi Toun, the incident occurred on Sunday evening at about 2200Hrs.

“Our consideration was drawn to an unlucky incident that occurred at Cherish Visitor Home, an remoted facility located on the outskirts of Ilorin. A bunch of armed males, numbering six arrived on the visitor home premises.

“The gunmen fired a number of pictures into the air, inflicting panic amongst close by residents. Our patrol crew responded to the scene promptly and located the visitor home securely locked.

The Commissioner of Police, Victor Olaiya, assured residents of the state that the Command’s major focus stays the protected rescue of the sufferer and apprehending the assailants.
