On Saturday, the Presidential Election Petition Court continued the pre-hearing of the petition filed by the Peoples Democratic Party and Atiku Abubakar, its presidential candidate, until Monday, May 22, 2023.

The day after the parties put forth their modalities for the petition hearing, the five-person panel, led by Justice Haruna Tsammani, set the date.
Before the next adjourned date, Justice Tsammani ordered the parties to consult and report to the court on any issues that should be consolidated.
