The Edo State Police Command has arrested 5 suspected cultists for allegedly preventing over the non-attendance of month-to-month assembly and fee of dues.

reporter stories that the Public Relations Officer of the Command, SP, Chidi Nwabuzor, disclosed this to newsmen in Benin Metropolis.

Nwabuzor mentioned the suspects have been arrested for conspiracy and cultism.

He gave the names of the suspects as Emeka Eke, Chizoba Okolie, Samson Ochonobor, Friday Agbebayo and Julius Eguasa.

The Command’s picture maker mentioned 4 of the suspects, Emeka Eke, Chizoba Okolie, samson Ochonobo and Friday Abgebayo have been allegedly beating Julius Eguasa for failing to attend their conferences in addition to not paying month-to-month dues to the confraternity earlier than they have been arrested.

He mentioned the suspects, who’re members of Eiye confraternity, have been arrested whereas preventing at Ramat Park, Benin Metropolis, by the operatives of the anti-kidnapping and cyber crime unit of the Command.

He defined that in interrogation it was found that the suspect have been members of Eiye confraternity.

He added that the suspects, who’re at present serving to the police with investigations, will quickly be charged to court docket.
