The Correspondents Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) in Niger State chapter has elected it’ls new executives with Priscilla Dennis of reporter rising because the Treasurer.

The executives all emerged as unopposed candidates for his or her positions throughout their inauguration held on the Union’s workplace behind the Central Financial institution of Nigeria (CBN) Minna.

The contestants included Yakubu Mustaph Bina of Individuals’s Day by day, who was elected because the Chairman for a second time period, Nura Mohammed of Voice of Nigeria (VON), Vice Chairman, Daniel Okpole Atori of New Telegraph for a second time period as Secretary whereas Akote Abubakar of Day by day Belief as Assistant Secretary.

Others are Priscilla Dennis of Day by day Put up, Treasurer, Rita Iliya of the Information Company of Nigeria (NAN), Monetary Secretary, and Nasiru Mustaph Basari of the Voice of America (VOA) Auditor, respectively.

In his acceptance speech, the newly elected chairman, Yakubu Mustapha Bina, assured that his administration will guarantee unity, stability, and transparency within the discharge of the Union’s duties, as effectively making certain professionalism and moral conduct by members.

Talking, the state Chairman, Comrade Abu Nmodu, charged them to work collectively in peace and unity in addition to be certain that members are carried alongside in all actions for the expansion of the Chapel.

He mentioned, “Now that the election is over, please, put apart all of your variations and work in the direction of fostering unity amongst your members for the great of all.
