The Ilorin Zonal Command of the Financial and Monetary Crimes Fee, EFCC, has arrested forty-eight suspected web fraudsters and herbalists.
The suspects had been arrested for offences bordering on conspiracy and acquiring below false pretence in Lokoja, Kogi State capital.
In keeping with the anti-graft company, the suspects had been arrested upon credible intelligence on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at varied places in Lokoja.
The fee stated the herbalist, believed to be a non secular godfather of web fraudsters, was arrested with varied charms.
Objects recovered from them embody 10 unique vehicles, two bikes, 11 laptops, 83 cell phones and charms.
The fee added that the suspects, all male, between the ages of 17 -34 shall be arraigned in courtroom upon conclusion of investigations.
