48 suspected fraudsters have been detained by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Kaduna Zonal Command.
During a sting operation in Kaduna, the Commission also detained two women, Precious Malachi Zidyep and Tina Patrick Omoyeme, at the Rosalux Blue Hotel in Agua, Kaduna South.
Two ex-convicts are also among the suspects: Williams Justice Gankon and AbdulWasiu Yunus, who were previously detained on April 10, 2022, tried by Justice Nasiru Umar Sadiq of the Kaduna State High Court, and found guilty on August 31, 2022.

At Yoruba Street and the Yakowa Expressway in Karji, Kaduna State, they were caught.
Laptop computers and various mobile phone models were among the items recovered from them.
The anti-graft organization added that as soon as its investigation is complete, the suspects will be charged in court.
