The Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Police Command has debunked experiences alleging that about 23 residents of Bwari, a suburb of Abuja, have been kidnapped.
Stories earlier emerged on social media saying the blood-thirsty bandits terrorizing the nation’s capital attacked Bwari and kidnapped about 23 residents.
Reacting to the report, the FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, in a press release on Friday stated the report was pretend.
The assertion reads, “We want to state that this assertion is fake and a figment of the febrile creativeness of the author and peddlers of the data geared toward deceptive and inflicting apprehension within the populace.
“Consequent to the above, we clearly want to state that FCT is protected, because the command is working assiduously to take care of that.
“We urge residents to shun pretend information and rumors and go about their lawful companies with out worry”.
