Gov Alia appoints Tile as Benue’s new Auditor General

The appointment of Aboh Tile as the state’s auditor general was authorized by Benue State Governor Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia on Friday.

In a statement made in Makurdi, the State capital, Sir Tersoo Kula, the spokesperson for Governor Alia, revealed this.

“Aboh has been Director of Audit in the Office of the State Auditor-General since 2015, prior to his current appointment.”He graduated from ABU, Zaria with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He also holds master’s degrees in development studies and business administration from Benue State University.

The announcement said, “He is a Member of the Institute of Development Administration of Nigeria, a Member of the National Accountants of Nigeria, and an Associate Member of the Institute of Taxation of Nigeria.”

According to Sir Kula, the position is effective right away.

He stated that all office files and documentation must be turned over right away to the new auditor under His Excellency’s order.
