Vice President Kashim Shettima turned 57 on September 2 and was congratulated by President Bola Tinubu.
In his birthday letter to Shettima, Tinubu congratulated the vice president for his “unwavering dedication” and “undying loyalty” to the country.
Dear Shettima, as you mark your 57th year, I take a moment to reflect on the journey we have undergone together in the service of our great nation, said the statement posted on the president’s official Instagram account, @officialasiwajubat, on Saturday.
“Your journey from the University of Maiduguri classrooms to the highest levels of leadership serves as a monument to your unshakable commitment, unflinching loyalty, and unmatched wisdom.
“Your bravery, especially during those difficult years in Borno State, has left an imprint that cannot be erased. Your academic prowess and inventive spirit are just as noteworthy as your perseverance in the face of difficulty.
In addition to being happy to have you as our vice president, I’m privileged to call you a friend. I hope you have the same grace, wisdom, and strength in the years to come as you have over the years.
Kashim, happy 57th birthday. Here’s to many more years of mutual success and cooperation,” the letter said.
