Ijaw National Congress threatens Wike over spat with Gov. Fubara, issues alert to Ijaws worldwide
The Ijaw National Congress, INC, has chastised Nyesom Wike, Minister of Federal Capital Territory FCT Abuja, over his alleged great conspiracy to impeach Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara.
The INC announced this in a public statement signed by its President, Prof. Benjamin Ogle Okaba, while accusing Wike of being the mastermind behind the massive scheme to illegally impeach Fubara.
The following was part of the statement:
“The INC is concerned about this development, which has the potential to create an unwarranted state of insecurity and instability in the Niger Delta and the Nigerian economy.”
“The INC completely condemns this barbaric, selfish, nepotistic, and unconstitutional act that has the potential to derail Nigeria’s democratic consolidation process.”

“The INC requests that Mr President and Commander in Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu summon his FCT Minister to order.” The INC further urges all jaw sons, daughters, and friends to unite behind the Governor of River State, stating that an injustice to one jaw man is an injustice to over forty (40) million Ijaw people globally.
“The ljaw Nation is watching closely and will act decisively and appropriately at the right time” .
