Ijigban Classroom Project Reaches Roofing Stage as Construction Progresses

Construction of the modern classroom block at Ijigban Ward in Ado Local Government Area has reached another major milestone, with roofing work expected to commence this week.

The project was facilitated by the Member representing Ado, Okpokwu and Ogbadibo Federal Constituency, Hon. Chief Dr. Bishop Philip Agbese, and forms part of ongoing constituency intervention projects aimed at improving educational infrastructure within the constituency.

When work on the project was first reported, construction was at the foundation stage. A recent visit to the site shows significant progress, with the building now standing at full structural height and ready for roofing.

Residents of Ijigban have welcomed the pace of construction, expressing optimism that the completed facility will provide a more conducive learning environment for pupils and teachers in the community.

Regular updates on the project are intended to keep constituents informed about the implementation of constituency projects while promoting transparency and public oversight. Community members are also encouraged to monitor project execution to ensure the work meets approved standards and is delivered within the expected timeframe.

Supporters of the lawmaker describe the project as part of broader efforts to improve infrastructure across Ado, Okpokwu and Ogbadibo Local Government Areas. They say continued monitoring and public reporting of constituency projects help strengthen accountability and public confidence.

Construction is expected to continue in the coming weeks as contractors move into the next phase of the project before eventual completion and handover to the benefiting community.
