During a stop-and-search operation in Maiduguri, the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) of the Borno State Police Command reportedly apprehended two suspects who were in possession of 25 different types of mobile phones.

In a statement released Tuesday, ASP Nahum Kenneth Daso, the Command’s Public Relations Officer, said that during questioning, the suspects admitted to stealing the phones from their owners in towns and villages along the Borno-Adamawa State boundary.

The suspects have admitted to the crime, and following an investigation, they will face charges in court.
