Veteran singer, Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, has alleged that Finland-based fractional leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Simon Ekpa is being used by the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, to destabilize the South East.
He said the self-acclaimed disciple of detained IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, has staunch affiliation with the APC.
He claimed the late Deji Tinubu, a relative of the national leader of the APC and President-elect, Bola Tinubu, sponsored
Simon Ekpa’s athletic career and sent him abroad.
The ‘Nwata Miss’ crooner added that Ekpa once represented Lagos State at the National Sports Festival in Lagos.
