The management of Kano Pillars Football Club on Tuesday announced the immediate suspension of the team’s technical adviser, Abdu Maikaba.
This follows formation of a committee that will investigate performance of the coach and recommend further action.
Recall that Abdu Mai-kaba was said to have made some recent unfriendly statements about the management during a meeting organized by the Kano Pillars supporters at the state press centre, Kano.
The suspension is coming days after the former Enugu Rangers gaffer stated that he had not had a proper working environment since taking over at the beginning of the current season.
“I need a conducive environment to work. The current environment is not conducive in Kano. I’m discussing with the management in days. If it warrants terminating the contract, I will do that,” Maikaba stated.
