Three suspects at the moment are in police web in Kwara State for alleged culpable murder, reporter experiences.
The suspects are Ibrahim Abdullahi of Medina space, Ilorin, Ismaila Ajirerin, (38) of Akata compound, Alore, Ilorin and Adeola Adeosun, (40) of Omo compound, Eruda, all residents of Ilorin the Kwara State capital.
Based on the spokesperson of the state police command, DSP, Ejire Adeyemi Toun, in Ilorin on Tuesday, the case was reported on March 10, 2024, at about 10:00hrs.
“Mr Olarenwaju Saliman of Alore space, Ilorin, reported a disturbing incident involving his brother Mr Musibau Aliu at ‘G’ Division, Oloje space of Ilorin metropolis.
“Based on Mr Saliman, his brother left dwelling on March eighth, 2024, at round 17:00hrs, along with his tricycle for industrial functions and has since not returned dwelling. Regardless of exhaustive efforts to hint him, together with repeated calls to his cellphone quantity which had been unanswered, Mr Aliu remained lacking.
“On March 10, 2024, at about 13:30hrs, the command acquired data relating to the invention of a headless corpse in an uncompleted constructing alongside Okolowo Expressway, by Daru-Salam Space.
“Upon arrival on the scene, a decomposing male corpse was discovered with its head, a part of the buttocks, and each wrists severed. It was later confirmed by Mr. Saliman that the deceased was certainly his lacking brother, Mr. Musibau Aliu.
“The deceased was recognized because the Chairman of the Tricycle Homeowners and Riders Affiliation of Nigeria (TOAN), Idiose Alore.”
Ejire stated the state police command, whereas sympathizing with the household of Mr. Musibau Aliu throughout this era of grief, remained dedicated to exhaustively pursuing the perpetrators of the dastardly act.
