The Lagos State Authorities has commenced the demolition of all unlawful buildings and shanties across the Jakande Property and Maiyegun within the Lekki space of the state.
Tokunbo Wahab, Commissioner for the Ministry of Setting and Water Sources within the state, introduced this in a publish on his official X deal with.
The Commissioner shared a video clip from the location the place a construction is being pulled down.
Captioning the video, Wahab wrote, “Lagos State Authorities this morning started the elimination of all unlawful buildings and shanties constructed round Jakande Property and Maiyegun, Lekki.
“This enforcement is geared in direction of reclaiming the coastal street alignment for the Lagos – Calabar Freeway mission of the Federal Authorities, and the city regeneration of the realm.”
