The Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, says the state authorities is behind Senator Abdul Ningi, the lawmaker who was slammed with a three-month suspension by the Senate on Tuesday.
reporter recollects that Senator Ningi, representing Bauchi Central senatorial district, was suspended over his remark, alleging that N3.7 trillion within the 2024 funds can’t be traced.
After the suspension, the lawmaker resigned as Chairman of the Northern Senators Discussion board, NSF.
Talking on the matter throughout the State Govt Council assembly on the Authorities Home, Bauchi, on Wednesday, Mohammed mentioned the event saddened him.
Based on him, Senator Ningi’s assertion on the funds was true, stressing that the lawmaker was suspended for standing up for reality.
“Yesterday I used to be very unhappy the Senate suspended one in all our greatest from Bauchi for saying the reality, for standing as much as be the beacon of the reality.”
Mohammed, who can be the chairman PDP Governors’ Discussion board, mentioned, “Equally I don’t know what we are going to do however we are going to focus on privately to see what we will do to help him as a result of I help no matter he’s doing and that’s our greatest place particularly if what he saying is the reality,”
