The Nationwide Identification Administration Fee, NIMC, has ordered for a complete investigation into an alleged residents’ knowledge breach by XpressVerify.
The Director Common of NIMC, Abisoye Coker-Odusote disclosed this in an announcement on Sunday by the Fee’s head Company Communications, Kayode Adegoke.
NIMC clarified that XpressVerify is just not one of many Fee’s licensed companions for NIN verification providers.
The Fee reiterated that residents’ knowledge is protected and safe in Nigeria’s Nationwide Identification Database.
“There is no such thing as a knowledge breach of any kind and the Residents’ knowledge is protected and safe in Nigeria’s Nationwide id database”, NIMC said.
“The Director Common and Chief Govt Officer of NIMC, Engr. Abisoye Coker-Odusote has promptly ordered a complete investigation into the matter to seek out out if any of the Fee’s Tokenisation verification brokers has in any manner breach the licensing settlement both immediately or by any of their sub-licensees”, the assertion added.
